The bungalow provided a comfortable stay with great amenities.
Unfortunately, the beach was rocky and unsafe for swimming, causing frustration for my family. The location felt isolated, and we often struggled to find nearby shops or dining options. Most disappointing was the breakfast, which lacked variety and freshness, leaving us unsatisfied .

Very quiet, nice staff. Great food. Wifi at the reception area worked well.
The beach is very rocky so if you are into sandy beaches this is not the place for you. They do have a pool so I didn't mind not hanging out on the beach. The resort is far from the nightlife so if you are looking for action you wont find it here. This is a nice place for couples to relax.

The food for breakfast, especially toast and fruit, was outstanding. The hotel was quiet and in a remote location.

A combination of hits and misses
Our bungalow was pristine! The breakfast selections were diverse. We indulged in beautiful sushi every morning that elevated our stay.
The pool area felt overly crowded with children, diminishing the serene vibe we craved. The rocky beach was disappointing for swimming, definitely a letdown.

The beachfront gardens are super nice! 🌴 The pool was clean, and the friendly staff helped me out a ton. But breakfast could be better, seemed a bit limited. enjoyed my stay!

Excellent ratio quality/price, very nice staff.
The private beach is seldom usable for swimming (but at least there is one, which is not so common on Ko Chang).

Very nice and quiet place where you can really relax. We even stayed one night longer than we have planned. It has a good position, if you rent a motorbike you can go to other interesting places, like Bang Bao village where you can find really cheap seafood restaurants, Klong Prao village where you can go elephant trekking, treetop adventure in Bailan village etc. The sunset from this hotel is magnificent.
The beach at this hotel is not for swimming, you have to find better beaches, but that is not a problem at all, because renting a motorbike at this hotel is like 5 euros per day, so you can choose on which beach you will go and there are a few really good beaches very near hotel.

Beach unpleasant poorly compensated by a small pool too quickly overcrowded. Our bungalow was the furthest with a nice little environment and lack of internet. - Plage peu agréable mal compensée par une trop petite piscine vite surpeuplée. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay and the staff were helpful and welcoming.
The beach area was ok for sunbathing, although there was a high risk of getting bitten by insects or mosquitoes. There were too many rocks in the sea to be able to swim comfortably.

The fact that, although the resort was fully booked, it was peace & quiet everywhere. The great new swimming pool with seaview. The bungalow was big enough with a nice veranda. Breakfast and other meals at the restaurant were fine. Quiet location.
Quiet location (an hour drive from the pier, not near other beaches). Bailan Beach Resort doesn't have a real beach, just a little bit of sand and dirt.

We enjoyed snorkeling and exploring the nearby diving spots. The bungalows were comfortable and fully equipped. Breakfast had interesting options like unusual marmalades, and while the pool was small, it was still a lot of fun hanging out there.
The beach unfortunately wasn't suitable for swimming due to rocks, a letdown for us.
